What it costs to ask
Asking is free, and there is no obligation to buy. If you go ahead, our fee is a stated percentage of the goods value shown as its own line on the quote — not hidden inside the unit price. You see the factory price. Standard sourcing commission starts at 5% on larger orders and is 10% on typical small ones; a one-off parcel to an individual is normally at the small-order end, and the exact figure is on the quote before you commit to anything.
What we compare, and what we do not
A landed price is only honest if you can see what is in it. Some things are always included, and some are not — better to say so up front than to surprise you later.
Included in every quote:
- The goods at the price we actually pay in China
- Our sourcing fee, stated as its own line
- Freight to your address
- Customs duty and clearance where we act on your behalf
Not included unless stated:
- Your country’s VAT or sales tax, where it is collected from you directly at import
- Return shipping if you change your mind about the product itself
- Anything we have flagged as needing a compliance step, such as certification for regulated goods
