A sourcing desk, not a marketplace

BAFC exists because the gap between "China can make this" and "I have this on my desk" is filled with friction that has nothing to do with manufacturing: language, supplier verification, specification drift, freight arithmetic, customs.

What we are

A small sourcing desk based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Human buyers, working case by case, on behalf of buyers outside China. We do not operate a marketplace, we do not host seller listings, and we do not sell advertising. You describe a requirement; we go and find it.

What we are not

• We are not affiliated with, and do not represent, any marketplace.
• We do not source counterfeit, trademark-infringing or otherwise unlawful goods. If a request is for a branded copy, we decline it.
• We do not ask suppliers to under-declare customs value. If that is the deal you want, this is the wrong desk.
• We are not a freight forwarder. We buy freight and clearance at market rate and pass it through as a cost line.

How we are paid

A stated procurement commission on the goods value, and freight at cost. Quoting is free and carries no obligation. The full line-item structure is published on the fees page, including a worked example.

The principles we actually hold to

1. Answer within 24 hours. Even if the answer is "we cannot help with this".
2. Show the arithmetic. Every quote is itemised, including our own fee.
3. Never hide a mark-up in the unit price. Factory cost is factory cost.
4. Say no clearly. To unlawful requests, and to projects we cannot execute well.
5. Keep your files yours. Drawings and samples are used to quote your order and nothing else.
