Obsolete, discontinued and hard-to-find industrial parts from China
A machine stops, the OEM discontinued the part in 2014, and the lead time from the original manufacturer is nine months. The Chinese aftermarket is deep and almost invisible outside China. Send the part number, a photo, or the broken part itself.
From a part number or a photograph
Castings, gears, bearings, control boards, sensors, seals, belts, pneumatic fittings. A photograph with dimensions and any markings on the part is often enough to identify a source.
Original manufacturer, licensed copy or equivalent
We tell you which of the three you are being offered, and price each. For non-critical parts an equivalent is often the right answer; for critical ones we say so.
Reverse engineering when nothing exists
If no supplier has the part, the geometry is drawn and it is made — CNC for metal, casting for volume, silicone or urethane for seals and gaskets.
Quantity one is acceptable
A single spare to get a line running again is a legitimate order. We have quoted one unit and we have quoted a five-year stockholding; both are handled the same way.
Critical spares stocking
For plant operators, we can arrange a small buffer stock held and shipped on call, so the second failure does not cost another three weeks of downtime.
Documentation that satisfies maintenance
Material certificates, dimensional reports and test data where the part is safety-relevant, so it can pass your internal acceptance process.
Specific questions, specific answers
Can you find a part from just a part number?
Often, yes. Send the number plus the machine make and model and, if possible, a photograph of the part. Numbers alone are sometimes ambiguous across manufacturers, and the photograph resolves that faster than anything else.
What if the manufacturer no longer exists?
This is common and workable. We trace the original contract manufacturer where possible, or identify the specification from the part itself and have it produced. Either route is quoted with a sample before volume.
Can I order a single replacement part?
Yes. Single-unit orders are common for maintenance spares. The per-unit price is higher because set-up and freight are not spread across volume, and we show that arithmetic rather than hiding it.
Do you supply parts for safety-critical systems?
We can source them, but we will tell you explicitly when a part is safety-critical and we will only supply against a documented specification with certificates. We do not recommend unverified equivalents for safety-critical applications, and we say so before you order.
